The US government’s answer to GM’s bailout request
We have in our possession a scan of a classified US government document.
The document is a transcript of the government’s talks and conclusion about bailing out GM through a $25 billion loan. Please see below, a scanned copy of the document:
Introducing the 100 inch Apple Cinema display…
Click the image below.
And see how many times you have to scroll to view this photo of Burj Dubai, standing at a height of 707 meters (2320 ft)
I think it’s time for Steve Jobs to introduce a 100″ Apple Cinema display to properly display these structures.
And it should be priced directly in crude oil. 100 barrels for a 100″ Apple Cinema Display.
Coder of the day
It has been brought to our attention that lately, indian coders are not only abusing Apple’s iPhone web apps platform to make a quick bang to help them pay for their girlfriend’s birth control pills, but they even do it in ASPX!!!
The “Coder of the the day” prize goes out to Mr. Sr. Vishal Seth (stocks: http://vishalseth.com).
Mr. Vishal is one of the many billions of indian “coders” who can’t tell the difference between a keyboard and their arse, but they somehow managed to connect to the “Internet” and expand their BS pollution outside their home village.
We browse to his About page (http://vishalseth.com/page/About-me.aspx) to only find it filled with AdSense advertising. This is sad and breaks my hearth. However, his extensive knowledge hasn’t yet extended to the level where he can close the footer of the page properly after pasting the advertisement code and the page ends up without a footer. From someone claiming to have worked with clients such as Intel Corporation, this is unacceptable. Wait! There is a footer. Except it’s above the giant skyscraper ad that fits the page like a nut in the wall. He must have been high on some herbs when “empowering” that particular page.
Observe the photograph. Nicely done at the village photographer, most likely in the presence of his entire family (which is actually the entire village), wearing his father’s good/Sunday shirt on a background featuring some cheap chinese import wallpaper. Or is it outside the family hut? I can’t tell honestly.
Honestly, we don’t need you people and your entire genealogical tree connecting to the internet, making a quick blog to make some AdSense money and then committing the blasphemy of making iPhone web apps in ASPX.
We don’t need to read your about pages. We know that your entire area of expertise and background is a conversation with your cousin from the neighboring village, on how he made money with AdSense and bought a Tata Nano car. He actually jacked that car and made you believe it that he has bought it.
I was trying to evaluate his horoscope web app but unfortunately:
“The application is offline for now, due to problems with my hosting company. Sorry for the trouble.”
I think he ran into a religious conflict on that one with his Vishnu-Buddha friendly webhost, which doesn’t endorse horoscopes. This is a total disrespect for his indian culture.
Below, is a photo of Mr. Vishal’s cousin with his yearly earnings check. It’s an impressive $26.
The photo resolution is 1600×1200, taken with a cheap import camera phone.
Well … told you …. you got owned on this one.
Oil and Mac
Just look what a lot of petrodollars can buy to someone like King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud:
… a 30″ Apple Cinema Display!
Apple’s market share explained
One day, Steve Jobs went to God and asked for a wish to be granted.
Steve Jobs: God, can I have one wish?
God: Sure Steve, go ahead…
Steve Jobs: I want every person in the world to use a Mac and run Mac OS on it. Period.
God: Sure Steve, but there will be one condition…
Steve Jobs (mad): Whatever … just grant me darn wish
God: For every people that will switch from Windows to Mac OS, you will loose a piece of hair.
Steve Jobs went bald and got a proportional number of Mac users.
Moral of the story? Communism is bad. Embrace free markets like Bill Gates did.
Making money…
While surfing the internet and seeing various ads about online forex trading, oil trading, stocks, etc … conversations with other people, etc … I noticed this craze that got into people in the past years. Everybody just wants to make money. And when we have too many people just wanting to “make money”, and taking reckless risks in the process … we end up in the major economic crisis we are just seeing.
Some people went bankrupt, some can’t be bothered (myself included).
Why?
Because we have a product to sell. A product is something we make out of nothing, and then exchange it for money. And then we exchange the money for another product made by someone else. And the circle is closed.
It’s not a crisis folks. It’s just a forced shift of people, from “making money”, back to “making products”.
Some will take this shift and be just fine. Some won’t … and they won’t be fine.
The party is almost over and instead of going home, someone went out to buy some more drinks, with the pennies everyone had left. These are the government bailouts. Give people money to spend, and the economy will be just fine. Right. For how long can this go one? Not for long … we will party a bit more, and enjoy a harder hangover, a bit later.
We all partied in our lifetimes. But keep in mind you can’t party forever. You have to go home at some point, feeling a bit sick, getting the usual hangover, and the next day get back to making products.
The guy just came back with the extra drinks. Let’s drink a bit more as the party will be over soon. This is the point were we are now.
Bloomberg News sues the US Federeal Reserve
More info here:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aKr.oY2YKc2g
Basically, they want to know what kind of collateral has the FED accepted for the 1.5 trillion US dollars of freshly printed dollars it just handed out to banks. They probably used toilet paper and used condoms as a collateral, leftover from for driving the american economy into deep sh*t and f*cking it over
Dubai
“There are more construction workers in Dubai, than there are people living there”
What exactly are they thinking of, when building the biggest “everything” (airport, hotel, etc) in the world?
Look guys … oil got cheap again, the US is in deep poo and the global economy doesn’t look that good anymore.
Somebody should ban whatever that is those guys over there are smoking.
Congratulations Barack Obama
… for winning the 2008 US elections.
Let’s hope they will discontinue airing the weekly episode from “Terrorists are everywhere, planning to nuke us” show and replace it with something new, and hopefully not a new show called “Share your hard earned dollar with your lazy brothers”.
As mentioned several times, the key to a personal financial success, is taking from those that have money, and redistribute it to those that want to have money. If Obama behaves like any good politician and forgets about the silly promises of free money made to the masses that elected him, and gets on with the rest of his program, we could witness some fine things coming out from the White House.
Meanwhile, hardship continues in Iran, as crude oil drops below $70, and the recent flood of petrodollars is about to dry up. Time for mister Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to step up and send some threatening words towards Wall Street, to help drive up the price of crude oil. But wait! Now with Mr. Obama at the White House, speculators will have a hard time using every excuse to drive up the price of oil.
Now what? Time to think of some new stuff to drive markets crazy and earn some money from speculating the price of oil.
